✅ Mini Site-Audit Checklist (Quick QA before/after changes)
1) Visibility & Contrast
- Body text contrast ≥ 4.5:1 on all sections (light + dark).
- Links vs. body text are clearly distinguishable (color + underline on hover).
- Header/nav readable over gradients (frosted header shows; links visible).
2) Typography
- Base font size ≥ 18px; line-height ≈ 1.6.
- H1/H2 scale looks good on desktop and mobile (no wrapping disasters).
- No tiny text hiding in footers, forms, or buttons.
3) Navigation
- Nav links readable on all pages; hover turns teal.
- Resume link renders as a pill button (desktop + mobile).
- Active page is visually indicated (bold, color, or underline).
4) Buttons & Links
- Primary buttons = teal; hover = darker teal.
- Secondary/ghost buttons: teal outline + soft-bg hover.
- Text links in content and footer use teal; hover uses darker teal.
- External links marked (optional: add “↗” icon) and open in new tab if appropriate.
5) Sections & Presets
- Any stubborn orange fixed by setting Section Colors → Light/White (or editing the Accent to teal).
- No section uses conflicting theme presets that override teal styling.
6) Homepage Hero
- One paragraph max; CTAs link correctly to Case Studies / About / Resume.
- Illustration/headshot loads fast, looks sharp, and has good alt text.
- Mobile: hero stacks cleanly (image above text), buttons wrap nicely.
7) Case Studies
- Cards/titles/“Read more” show teal states.
- Images are compressed (WebP/JPEG) and not huge (>200–300KB unless necessary).
- Each study has a clear outcome/impact line.

- Snapshot + Values + Life Outside Research read clearly; no age-flagging phrasing.
- Illustration or headshot fits the theme; no weird stretching.
- Contact path (footer or nav) is obvious.
9) Resume
- “Download my résumé” link works; uses teal and looks intentional.
- PDF filename is clean (e.g.,

). - PDF is accessible (real text, not just images; selectable; tagged if possible).

- Fields have labels and clear errors.
